HT Pirates (2 tries) 12 - 14 (2 tries) Blues Blues look dominant but an intercept in the first 2 mins from Prowse and a missed penalty (1st missed kick of the season) has the score line closer. Although Pirates also missed one penalty too.

Probably just deserved it, Pirates very good when attacking in the 22, Bedford not so, butchering a few chances, along with Pirates good defence, Blues sneaking it in the end, I’ll say we deserved it for taking a tap and go that led to the winning try from in front of the posts when a converted pen would have given us a draw. ------------- I want you all to line up in a circle and pair up in three's alphabetically by height. |

Only thing was we would still have lost 3-2 points by taking the 3. We shouldn’t have gone for 3 in the first few mins of the 2nd half and kept the pressure on.

Agree with the first half point, we should have put it in the corner, it wasn’t an easy kick. Tap and go was a 50/50 decision, wouldn’t have minded either way, very happy it paid off. ------------- I want you all to line up in a circle and pair up in three's alphabetically by height. |

There, I’ve fixed it for you. If this is the route that this league is going down then I don’t want anything to do with it. London Scottish are just a soulless, nothing club that don’t offer anything to this league. Teams like Caldy have had to fight their way through the divisions to get to this level and have stayed up by producing their own players. The RFU are a pathetic embarrassment for allowing this to happen. If it was my club that had 10 of their 15 players parachuted in from a Premiership Club I would refuse to go and watch them. If that’s the vision that the powers that be have for this league then Rugby below the Premiership is absolutely dead and we’d be better off in the lower leagues watching a team of players that actually have an affinity with the club that they play for rather than being used as an experiment by Premiership clubs. ------------- Donny Knights - best team in Yorkshire |

The comments on London Scottish being a soulless CLUB are disgraceful. Our 2 amateur sides both won well today and we are having a blast this evening. Do we offer anything to a league that has no purpose… well who cares the league is wrongly forgotten by the RFU. Enjoy the fact that a Quins laden side nilled Donny at home, the result will show it was London Scottish playing within league rules. I used to enjoy trips to Donny, always thought the fans were evenhanded, perhaps I was high on Cow Pie. ------------- Car'n the Rams! |

Sorry ExtraB you miss the point. Yes it might be within the rules (but is only in place to facilitate the Prem clubs glut of players who wouldnt normally get game time and its just a complete sham) If you see that as your clubs function in life then I feel sorry for you. Me, I'd rather grow our own and support them to the hilt whether that be at Level 2, Level5 or Level 10

The team at the top of the Champ, unbeaten and on maximum points, uses no Prem players (apart from an emergency front-rower in week one), so it can be done. ------------- Our Club |

There is no good reason to want to when the league above is a confused mess of pro and semi pro clubs, competing in a staccato season as part of a league lacking any core identity or sustainable plan for the future. No thanks.

There are plenty of clubs in ND1 who have DR's. Rams get Saints Dings Crusaders get Bristol Sale FC and Sale Leicester Lions and Leicester Plymouth Albion and Exeter There are probably more than that.
