An interesting tale of one player's journey in the game. I've never watched an under 85kg match and am curious as to whether it's as stop-start as open weight matches seem to be.

| Watched a game of this a few years back when in NZ. Was good to watch, played at speed and with no small amount of skill. Something the RFU could look at. Oh sorry it’s not Premierships rugby. |

In exactly the same way an under 18 league would have told an adult Lomu he couldn't play!

In my opinion the discrepancy of weight, speed , height and skill set is what makes Rugby Union unique and different from most other sports. It needs all of the different parts to come together and to gel to win a game . You can win a game tactically and out score a dominant set piece team and vice versa with speed and skill. It is an integral part of our game ------------- Ambition should be made of sterner stuff. |
