The rumour mill has been working hard in recent times. The latest info suggests that Rob Lawrence has been sacked after a few costly and unsuccessful seasons. Adverts are out for new coaches. Fingers crossed 🤞 they spend less on his replacement and look to bring back the junior section to the high standards we were so familiar with in times gone by. After all, the kids are the future.

WP have announced a new coaching team, seems the rumours were true.

Indeed. What was interesting about the announcement was the lack of a mention of Rob. I can only assume he left under strained circumstances. Not surprising. What is great to see is the number of ‘club men’ in the coaching set up. Well done Combe for finally recognising the need for change.
