The Premiership have announced today, the minimum operating standards now include a requirement for 100,001 seats minimum.

You’d probably be correct there except for it would also say… for founding members they will not need to comply with the new criteria due to their historic standing within the Premiership and English game!

There were plans submitted for a Blues Stadium but never got off the ground. They could have been a viable Premiership team.

Goldington Road was a tough place to get a result back in the day when I played, one of Leicester's bogey sides some years.
