We all know what a cracking league Nat1 is so what are people's expectations for next season? Winner? Relegated? Surprise package etc...

Rams to do well but come up just short end up fourth.
Rosslyn Park to look good but finish second and lose the play-offs.
No idea who will win, though.

And relegation is just as confusing.

It would seem a few sides have had some quite large changes in personnel, Leicester Lions had nine players and coaching staff leave, mostly retiring and it looks like a fair number of young players recruited, mostly from the BUCS competition, so not really able to make many predictions yet.

No pressure but Roth have assembled a terrific squad.

The major problem for whoever finishes second is the time delay between the respective dates the Championship and Nat 1 finish the regular season.
The final games in Nat 1 are on April 25th whereas the Championship is 9th May which means it will at least 3 weeks between the end of the Nat 1 regular season and the play off.

Also, could someone enlighten me as to whether the play off is over 2 legs or 1, in which case it would presumably be on the home ground of the Championship team?

Plus what rules are they going to play, but that depends on the ref as half the time the laws just get in the way 😂😂

And remember the team finishing 2nd Will have to satisfy Champ Criteria to get promoted , not sure how that impacts the play off if they do not?

It will probably depend on whether there are any other failed clubs who walked away from their debts who re-start and the RFU want in the Chump at the expense of decent clubs.

The rules laid out by the RFU stated that if Wasps or London Irish wanted into level two it had to be this season, if they try to join next season it would have to be into Nat 1 in level three, according to their rules that is.................................a pig just flew past my window..........................wow
