I like the phrase 'was adjudged to have' and also chuckled about 'inordinate' penalties for offside. Did he pull down the maul or didn't he? Were the DMP players offside persistently?
Ref must have thought so.

A. They were adjudged to have been.

Language is such a subtle but revealing thing. Losing sides’ reports are an art form. Somehow make a loss sound like a victory of sorts. Shame the score gets in the way.
