Cheers Shamrose.

So after last week my very very early predictions are Top 3 (after Sidcup of course) : Guernsey, Dons, LWIG. Bottom 3 a lot tougher... I think Guildford are going to struggle this year, along with Brighton and a combo of CS, Sevenoaks, Ath and RTW. Whatever happens its certainly going to be an enthralling year for everybody.

CS Stags 0 - 5 Wimbledon - Great result for the Dons last week, more of the same here
Guernsey 5 - 0 Brighton - Guernsey are going to be the team to beat this year imo
LWIG 5 - 0 Guildford - Irish to bounce back in style, this could be the year where Guildford cant pull of the great escape
Sevenoaks 0 - 5 Sidcup - Great result for Sevenoaks on the plastic last week. Huge double header this weekend with both our 1s and 2s heading down, fingers crossed two more glorious wins!
Tring 4 - 1 Bedford - Bedford forwards to be bullied up front by a smarting Tring
RTW 1 - 5 Dorking - A good win for RTW last week, but as I do really think Guernsey will be the gold standard this year and to put 20 on them like Dorking did is no mean feat
The 100 4 - 1 Hertford - If only I had put my money where my mouth was last week. Big big battle ahead, with the monied 100 to edge it at home and continue their very impressive start.

Best,
DD

A week late to the party but better late than never.

CS 0 v Wimbledon 5 - One way traffic expected.
Guernsey 5 v Brighton 0 - See above.
LIWG 5 v Guildford 0 - See above above.
Sevenoaks 4 v Sidcup 1 - Buoyed by a good away win, see the Oaks taking a close lowish scoring game at home.
Tring 4 v Bedford 0 - Tring to rebound, comfortable victory but denied a BP by Bedford.
TW 1 v Dorking 5 - Hard game to predict, betting on Dorking away from home is very nearly a cardinal sin but cannot bring myself to back TW after reports of a lacklustre preseason and a close game against Guildford.
Rochford 4 v Hertford 0 - Think I saw somewhere that the 100 have recorded BP wins in two straight seasons, however, needed the full 80 to maintain this record last week. Think a fired up Hertford only succeed in disrupting the BP aspect of this accomplishment.

Please see attached the first set of scores from a very hard week to predict, so 21 is a great score.
Scores are based on 4 points for the exact score, 3 for the correct result and no other outcomes count. As I am taking over from Fatty1973 please be patient while I bed in and if I have made a mistake in your score please IM me and I will recheck it. Also anyone wishing to join who has not already done so can do so staring with my score of 6 which is the lowest of the weekOuch

Must admit against Dorking, Guernsey looked extremely well drilled in the forwards and the number 15 was exceptional

Can I join the fun please? Missed the start so will strive to make up points as season progresses.

CS - Wimbledon 0 - 5         Surely a stroll for Dons
Guernsey - Brighton 5-0     Tough one for the Blues on the Island
LIWG - Guildford 5-0          Irish at a canter
Sevenoaks - Sidcup 5-1      Mighty Oaks to prevail at the Paddock fortress
Tring - Bedford 4-1             Both sides looking to bounce back but Tring to edge it
T Wells - Dorking 1-4          Tricky one but Dorking seem more likely
Rochford - Hertford 5-2       Last week + stories of RH recruiting but H no walkover

Spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Brighton on Saturday. It surely has the most picturesque setting in the league. Brighton had some slick handling moves and a half decent set of forwards, but were a bit naïve in using the very strong wind and seemed to tire worryingly after about 30 minutes of running into it.
Hertford did what they always seem to do: almost close a game out and then invite the oppo straight back into it. This time by trying offloads to no-one etc etc. But hey ho.

CS Stags                     v          Wimbledon       0-5     can't see CS troubling the scoreboard too much.

Guernsey                     v          Brighton           5-1     Brighton certainly capable of scoring some tries. Big question is whether Guernsey will let them have the ball.

London Irish WG       v          Guidlford          5-0      Guidlford to get spanked.

Sevenoaks                   v          Sidcup              5-2      Don't know so gone for home team on their first outing.

Tring                            v          Bedford            2-5      Has the Tring bubble burst?

Tunbridge Wells          v          Dorking            5-2      Dorking away, even only going as far as TW, is a rare victory recently.

Rochford Hundred      v           Hertford             1-4     Don't really believe it but a defensive masterclass and a goal kicking exhibition to win the day for Hertford.

CS Stags   0                  v          Wimbledon  5 Easy pickings for the wombles

Guernsey   5                 v          Brighton  0  Simple home win

London Irish WG 5       v          Guidlford  0 Geese will be fired up for this

Sevenoaks    4               v          Sidcup 0  Pure guesswork

Tring    5                        v          Bedford 0 Tring stronger

Tunbridge Wells   4       v          Dorking 0 Like watching paint dry

Rochford Hundred   5   v           Hertford 1 Agree this will be a belter

CS Stags 0 v 5 Wimbledon - can't see the CS boys troubling Dons.

Guernsey 5 v 0 Brighton - Routine home win. Nothing for Brighton apart from a mini-tour.

London Irish WG 5 v 0 Guildford - Another routine home win and G's to struggle at least to Christmas. One season too many for the traditional late resurgence perhaps this year.

Sevenoaks 5 v 2 Sidcup - A cracker of a game here and a Kent Derby. Oaks buoyant, Sidcup experienced. High scoring home win.

Tring 5 v 0 Bedford - Bedford always much stronger at home and Tring will want to make amends from last week.

Tunbridge Wells 4 v 1 Dorking - Wells always strong at home, but got taken apart up front last week by G's after losing half their pack from last year. However they are dangerous with the ball. Dorking always a decent outfit.

Rochford Hundred 5 v 2 Hertford - A real tough one to predict as I know nothing of the Essex men apart from the hearsay. But to get a try scoring bonus point win at Tring is no fluke.

1st game at this level last week, thought we gave Hertford too much respect in the 1st half.
Take nothing away from Hertford well drilled side, very good back row and an outstanding 13.
So this week...
CS 0 v 5 Wimbledon, Big win!!!
Guernsey 4 v 1 B'ton, Hope I'm wrong!
LIWG 5 v 0 Guildford, A bit more fire from the Irish this week methinks.
7Oaks 4 v 1 Sidcup, Big Kent battle, game of the week.
Tring 4 v 1 Bedford, Not sure on this one, so gone for home side.
TWells 4 v 1 Dorking, As above.
Rochford 5 v 2 Hertford, Rochford pushing all the way this season.

LIWG 5-0 Guildford
Sevenoaks 5-0 Sidcup

Most of these are writing themselves this week... the only variance being on how strong a win they'll be. I am, of course, looking forward to being proved horribly wrong when I check the results on Saturday evening! The bottom two fixtures hold the most interest for me this week.
