Match of the day has to be 1st against 2nd and can Guernsey be the first side to lower Wimbledon's colours. A very tough ask away from home but cold days on sodden pitches can be a great leveller. Elsewhere in a Kent Derby 4th place TW take on a Sidcup on the slide at present and Brighton will be looking to surprise Dorking at an extremely wet Big Field Guildford Hertford Sidcup Tunbridge

Bedford 5-2 LIWG - I think this will be a high scoring affair on the plastic but BA know how to play it well. A home win. Guildford 0-5 Hertford - Gs will make it comfortable but Herts will have too much and hammer in another long overdue nail. Sidcup 4-1 Tunbridge Wells - A tough one to chose. TWs on a roll but Sidcup has never been a happy hunting ground and they desperately need the win. Tring 4-1 CS - Tring not the force they were and CS have picked up some good wins. But I think Tring to grind one out. Wimbledon 5-2 Guernsey - Dons too strong at home but G's will push them awfully close. Dorking 5-0 Brighton - If D's pitch is playable it'll be a mud bath, favouring them massively. So going for a home win. Rochford 5-0 7Oaks - The pre-season champions elect need a big win to get back on track. I think they'll deliver if they have full availability.

Bedford 5 v LIWG 0 - Two high scoring losses against good teams for Bedford recently, have to be hot favourites at home on the plastic. Guildford 0 v Hertford 5 - Trap game for Hertford, thought about putting the cat among the pigeons but will save that for later... Sidcup 0 v TW 5 - Sidcup appear to be in real strife based on their last three results. Don't see the ship righted this week. Tring 4 v CS Stags 1 - Home advantage squeaks it, have a feeling half the CS boys will be struggling from various Xmas parties the evening before. Wimbledon 1 v Guernsey 4 - Here is one of the aforementioned felines, if the islanders win it will make for a more exciting race for promotion so here's hoping. Dorking 1 v Brighton 4 - The second cat is loose. Brighton's big pack to muck in and grind out a close low scoring game. Rochford 5 v 7Oaks 0 - 7Oaks have had a nice run dating back to early October, conditions will level the teams but expect the 100 to take it.

BEDFORD ATH 5-1 Liwg- Just one lowly win for Geese in recent weeks makes their job a tough ask. Guildford 0-5 HERTFORD- G's are in trouble whilst Herts are progressive and have the momentum. Sidcup 0-4 TUNBRIDGE WELLS- A dour battle where visitors claim another scalp, just. TRING 4-1 Cs Stags 1863- Tring to run up a sequence starting here and lift their blues. Wimbledon 1-5 GUERNSEY- Just have a feeling about this and to keep the top 3 honest. DORKING 5-0 Brighton- With narrow defeats at home to Wimbledon and 100's I expect D's to have too much against defiant seagulls. Rochford 1-5 SEVENOAKS- Oaks IMO are the surprise package this season. 100 are beatable as CS have shown, and resurgent Oaks could deliver a Christmas cracker. There are some fascinating match-ups this week. Tring/Stags, Wimbledon/Guernsey, Dorking/Brighton & Rochford/Sevenoaks all very difficult to call. After the rest week I wouldn't be surprised to see a few surprises this week. Bedford 5-0 LIWG LIWG yet to win away from home this season. Guildford 0-5 Hertford
Guildford's last win was 21st September. I don't expect this to be the week. Sidcup 0-5 TWRFC This is usually a close affair but going simply on results I have to put this as a Wells win. 3pm k.o. under floods for a little added interest. Tring 0 -4 CS Stags Must win for both teams. Who wants it most? I'm really unsure on this one. Wimbledon 5-0 Guernsey Wimbledon looking like they can sweep all aside with 11 wins and only one without the bonus point. Guernsey have had good wins, and some close wins against opposition from further down the league. Guernsey could win this *if* they really want it and turn up with their strongest side... but I expect the Dons to roll on. Dorking 4-1 Brighton Brighton looking stronger recently, and another fixture that could go either way. Rochford 5-1 Sevenoaks Sevenoaks putting in some good results, but for the most part Rochford still managing to grind out those wins and they'll be keen to put the Stags result behind them. |

Bedford 4 v Irish 0 - depends which Bedford side turn out even at Home that decides the bonus point G's 0 v Hertford 5 - its not improving for G's at the moment and the gap to safety will get worse after Hertford game but could this be the upset Cup 4 v TW/RTW 1 - Cup on a bad run but may have some fire power back and need to holt the run Tring 4 v Stags 1 - don't think Tring are yet running on all cylinders but moral last minute boosting away win will helped them Wombles 4 v Guernsey 1 - both good outfits and expect a tight game Dorking 4 v Brighton 0 - Dorking looking composed this season, Brighton have done well but expect home win 1000's 5 v 7/8 Oaks 0 - Oaks have a good defence record but not good enough at the 1000's

Tring CS Stags 1-4 The civil servants might well nick this one. Wimbledon Guernsey 1-4 I am not the first to suggest there could be an upset here. Dorking Brighton 4-0 Going for the home side on the Big Muddy Field. Rochford Sevenoaks 4-1 I don't see an upset but this could be a lot closer than most seem to think. |
