My guesses for this week
Barnstaple v Okehampton HW Barum need to get back on the wagon
Bracknell v Newbury Blues AW This IS the week Blues get their away win Wink
Brixham v Maids HW Brixham turned the corner?
Camborne v Launceston HW Camborne strong at home
Drybrook v Ivybridge HW Think this is the game that has got most divided views.
Exeter Uni v Exmouth HW Uni to win at home.

Only one away looks ominous but que sera sera

This division is a nightmare to predict and this week looks even more difficult... Got a feeling there will be a draw in there somewhere but not a clue where it will be!
I'm going with
Barum to bounce back
Blues first away win at Bracknell
Brix to keep their recent good form up
Camborne with home advantage
Ivy just to win at Drybrook
Uni in the Exeter Derby but didn't the Huckleberryles win there last year?

Meant the Huckleberryles in last post.. The joys of auto correct!

Its as hard as ever to predict again this week. I was tempted to go for 6 home wins but decided to pop in one away win.

Barnstaple  v  Okehampton  AW (think Okes will win this but hope I am wrong. )
Bracknell
v  Blues  HW (anyone’s guess so spun a coin)
Brixham
v  Maids  HW  (Brix look to back big time but will they cope with the big Maids pack)
Camborne  v  Launceston  HW (Big Cornish derby but just favour Camborne at home)
Drybrook
v  Ivybridge  HW (Drybrook need to get out of the relegation zone)
Exeter Uni
v  Exmouth  HW (both teams struggling a bit lately and could go either way)

Well looking at your predictions and commentary they could all go either way. Now I have the snapshot we'll be able to see if you change your mind. LOL

I would back Barum against anyone with a near full strength team FP but we have been missing several key players for the last 3 or 4 games and I hear that another top player was injured against the blues so unless we start to get some back we could be struggling. I await the team selection.

Barnstaple - top side but will be hard
Bracknell/Blues - draw (!)
Brixham - home advantage though they can be unpredictable
Launceston - hard but think they will do it
Ivybridge - think they will edge it
Exmouth - close but backing the away team

Well a week of all home wins. Poor old Barum man I hope he's hiding somewhere in the corner at the clubhouse LOL. With all the home wins there was only one Star predictor with a full house TRFTRF Clap. With of course the exception of Braders who having got ALL results correct forgot to post and we all believe him but the crystal ball will have to come out again to get a couple of full houses in order to catch up. Many 5's amongst the rest low scorers this week Gopher, Locknloader & Anorak with 3's not much movement in our league this week.

Superb game against the university whjch went right to the wire.

Pity the game was played on a 3/4 size rubbercrum with spectators standing all over the pitch. The ref at half time had to endure a 200m walk surrounded by the complaining home team.  No food or refreshments available to players or spectators, not sure this is the standards we should accept at this level.

Could someone also confirm whether BUCS super league players are allowed to play at this level as I thought this was not the case.

Yes they are as far as I know RF. When we played them at home there were a few that had played in the BUCS side just three days earlier on the Wednesday.

2 points to pick up on - was the pitch the minimum size allowed or not?
Surely the pitch has to be fenced/roped of for player & spectator safety - so how can spectators be on the pitch?

RAID ON

Precisely Raid On.
It seems that our league officials are not interested in making sure teams meet minimum standards that are expected at this level. At one point there were 2 young children playing on the touchline.

It also seems that the refereeing standard is dropping which will only get worse when the RFU reduce the number of assessors. We recently had a referee that didn't know the uncontested scrum laws.

Ensuring that the pitch is enclosed is a basic and legislated for in Regulation 13!
