Evening all, today's results and league points

Blaydon 32-26 Rossendale 5-2 -10

Carlisle 29 - 40 Macclesfield 1-5 +10

Harrogate 26 -8 Blackburn 5-0 : +10

Ilkley 0-38 Wirral 0-5 +10

Kirkby Lonsdale 18-25 Alnwick 1-5 -10

Morpeth 32-19 Billingham 5-0 +10

Sandal 31-19 Lymm 5-0 +10

It's very close at the top end of the league table, Macclesfield, Blaydon and Harrogate separated by a single point!

Blaydon were pushed all the way by Rossendale, Macclesfield got past the challenge of Carlisle and Harrogate were slightly more comfortable in beating Blackburn.

Morpeth produced a stunning performance to defeat the sliding Billingham, 5 defeats on the trot for the former leaders, while Alnwick helped the relegation fight by taking down Kirkby Lonsdale for an away win.

Sandal defeated Lymm 31-19 which sounds a comfortable margin but was probably a real battle.

Finally, Ilkley came off second best to Wirral and they look to be doomed barring miracles.

Sorry guys, it appears that I have given the league points for Kirkby Lonsdale vs Alnwick yesterday as 1-5 -10.....be advised that Alnwick only got 3 tries, 2 conversions and 2 penalty goals for 25 points, so league points should be 1-4 -10, sorry about that!
