With only 2 fixtures played yesterday I have left the prediction league as it is. This weeks fixtures are

Doncaster Phoenix v Burton
Kettering v Bromsgrove
Newport (Salop) v Broadstreet
Nuneaton v Bridgnorth
Paviors v Bournville
Peterborough Lions v Sheffield

Sandbach week off.

Looking at the final week I see Nuns have a 17-30 kick off I was under the impression that all final games had to be played at 15-00 to prevent any advantage. I assume that as it's a mid-table game of no consequence the league have allowed it?

My guesses this week

Doncaster Phoenix v Burton HW Phoenix to win at home although will be tight.
Kettering v Bromsgrove AW Grove to win, Kettering looking ominously like the team to follow PL down although there may be hope yet depending on what happens to YC
Newport (Salop) v Broadstreet HW 'Salopians to keep their foot on the throttle for 2nd place play off position.
Nuneaton v Bridgnorth AW Really difficult this one, 'North still with a sniff at 2nd place playoff place, Nuns now playing for pride and league position.
Paviors v Bournville AW League leaders to continue their winning ways.
Peterborough Lions v Sheffield AW  Only one result here.

Great game down Liberty Way, Bridgnorth just winning 30-29 though the ref had the score 30-28 somehow which both sides did not know get!

Good job Bridgnorth not got to play Ampthill as they moaned having to walk to the outside pitch.

Now they know how the away team feels every time they come to their place and have to trek half a mile along the banks of the Severn but heyho I guess that's what they mean by home "advantage"!! 😂😂

Unaccustomed as I am these last few weeks I'm happy to say we've had a full weeks fixtures. Burton eased their relegation worries with the defeat of the Phoenix, Newport continued their run in for 2nd place nilling Broadstreet, 'North got their win away at Nuns by 1 or 2 points depending on who marks the card, (I've always said a good marker always beats a good player ask Stallion Wink LOL) Bournville and Sheffield both easy away wins at Pavs and PL respectively. Then the one which put the kybosh on any chance of a full house with the draw. Ketterings season perhaps is not done yet.
This weeks' Star predictors with 6 are Club 1870 and Thatbloke Clap Clap. That just helps pull Thatbloke a little bit further away from OFTD, a few games to come next week, hopefully I'll be able to get most of the league caught up assuming 'North find somewhere to play next week. Our league looks thus.
