Having just read news article about Guernsey FC not taking part for the season in the Isthmian League football does this mean Guernsey Raiders will be the same in Nat 2?

I doubt the RFU will let them do that.

They might have no option, because you have no other way of getting on or off the Island:

As said in another thread the other major issue you have, that most people have not mentioned is changing and showering facilities.

This will be a major issue with upwards of 20 people who used to fit into one room, but now that same amount of people have to be spread over 3 or 4 rooms. You then add in Physio staff and medical staff and all of a sudden you don't have not enough space for two sides to change or shower! Its interesting to see some sides having to change in the stands in Prem games, as they don't  have the room.

Whilst you are wearing face masks in shops rugby is just not going to get played below the Prem, it's sad but I think that's pretty much a fact. Add in the "R" rate going north as well as local lockdowns Nat 1 and 2 is done.Unis are also going back this week, that is going to increase that rate even more, I don't think Guernsey will be a problem because nobody is going to be playing. My thoughts are we are looking at half a season at best starting in Jan, if we start at all in the 20/21 season!

For Championship Clubs / National League Clubs with smaller facilities perhaps they could explore renting Portakabin Facilities - similar to the Toilet Facilities at Nottingham. I know that this would bring in an overhead (not sure how much it would cost to lease these monthly) but it is a practicable solution if this is an inhibitor to rugby taking place.

All pie in the sky, as the resumption of rugby at level 4 just isn't happening in the foreseeable future.
