Does anyone know if the Ventur Cup is still going ahead?

I’ve heard very little since Wharfedale pulled out?

The VENTUR CUP will take place, with games in May & June.

Clubs taking part are, Leeds Tykes, Hull Ionians and Leeds Beckett. Other Clubs invited to play declined for various reasons. Each club will play 2 games at home and 2 away. Games will be played under the adapted laws, no scrums & no mauls.

Both of Hull Ionians home games will be after 17th May, by which time, we hope spectators will be allowed. Check the Club website for dates & details, if you are interested.

Everyone involved is looking forward to it.

Great Final today Tykes vs Beckett, some good players for both sides which bodes well for the upcoming season in Nat 1 and Bucs super.

Surely using the universities will strengthen Tykes chance of Nat 1 status or even pushing for promotion.

Did anyone else get chance to see the Final? And what are you thoughts on both teams?
