No competitive games for nearly 18 months, unknown recruitment status/player availability, new sides, law changes... it will be hard to pick for a few weeks until we get a sense of form.

Not sure my Mose will beat DMP as both seem to have retained and recruited well but you've got to hope that this could be the year we're not fighting relegation.

Even though I support a Championship Club I always follow ND1 so I thought I’d join in the fun. Here’s to getting them all wrong for another season!.

Usually we have a good feel for how teams are going to do based on the previous season but being as there hasn’t been any competitive rugby in ND1 for 18 months that method of predicting early season games is defunct!. A lot of my predictions are complete guesses, let’s see how it goes

Can't remember when I last got myself organised enough to join the league, so here goes:

Birmingham Moseley 0 Darlington Mowden Park 5 (lots of unknowns, but probaby our bogey team who will starve us of possession)

For anyone interested, here is a review of the Chinnor vs Sale match today. A deserved win for Chinnor, but there wasn't a great deal between the two sides. However, Sale made more unforced errors, and lost a few of their own line-outs. The Sale backs looked useful though.
