Bridgnorth v Dudley Kingswinford HW 'North too strong for Dudley
Broadstreet v Doncaster Phoenix HW Street at home and will be inspired by their win on Saturday.
Bromsgrove v Burton HW As above
Sandbach v Oundle HW Bach to carry on their winning ways
Sunny Scunny v Nuneaton HW Scunny to ambush Nuns once more LOL Unfortunately won't be there to see it in Cardiff atm
Sheffield v Newport (Salop) AW Probably the most interesting fixture, Sheffield usually better at home. Will be interesting to see if the Salopians bounce back after last weeks defeat.
Syston v Paviors HW Syston usually good at home.

Bridgnorth v DK HOME Only a few miles between the two clubs so although form suggests a comfortable North win I am expecting it to be pretty close
Broadstreet v Doncaster Phoenix AWAY Plenty one score margin defeats for Donny so its about time they nicked one and I think this could/should be it
Bromsgrove v Burton HOME High scoring win for Grove
Sandbach v Oundle HOME Ditto
Scunny v Nuns HOME Scunny to continue in the right vein with fifth win on the bounce
Sheffield v Newport AWAY If Port lose this one they could drop from 1st to 6th in one foul swoop. I expect a few changes in personnel and a positive reaction to last week
Syston v Paviors HOME Going to be dry so Syston backs to run the show and produce a big (ish) win

Results are in and pretty much going to form. 7 home wins with Newport being the only team to let everybody down losing in the last 5 mins. Although the one prediction TB got right was they would drop to 6th in the league if they lost and they promptly did LOL. Section 19 who dreamt that Nuns would win at Sunny Scunny and That bloke who went for DP to win at Broadstreet. Our league is thus.

Section 19.                  25

Club 1870                    17

Welsh Observer            6

Stallion                          5

One outstanding fixture for next week which is Oundle who missed the Nuns game earlier. I'll go with the original selections for week 3 unless anyone wants to change.

QUOTE] This fixture has been reversed. That makes it 1 home game and 5 away games - just saying.

Good spot. Is there a reason for that?

The football team have a scheduled league match and whilst they could have put it off till the next free Saturday, the Nuns were keen to play. So we are off to Oundle for our 5th away game of the season. Happy Days.

So 19 explain yourself. 11 changes to last weeks team at Sunny Scunny, who has dismissed Oundle as a banker and not quite sent the 1st team?

Well here's the predicament. All predictors predicted a home win. However Nuns didn't play at home and it was a home win. Do I give everybody a point for the Home win to Oundle or as nobody amended their predictions to an Oundle win nobody gets a point? As the sole arbiter of fact I'll go with no points as no-one expected this victory for Oundle.
Whereas some saw the game as "its party time" but possibly because Nuns were at home or others had the right idea " by a comfortable margin" but as Eric Morecambe once said "all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order" LOL
Discuss.
