Lions 'A Team' take on National League 1 side Bishop Stortford's 2nd TeamAlthough there is no first team game on Saturday 6th November 2021, Lions 'A Team' will be playing Bishop Stortford 2nd Team at home. Bishop Stortford are a National League 1 side, so this should be a good and testing game, with a chance to see some of the Lions' up and coming talent. Date: Saturday 6th November 2021 |

Lions 'A Team' take on National League 1 side Bishop Stortford's 2nd TeamIn a keenly contested game the score was Lions A XV 17 (3 tries) - Bishop's Stortford 2nd XV 33 (5 tries). Lions did extremely well against a 2nd XV from National League 1 side Bishop's Stortford, especially in the second half with a comeback showing Lions determination and character. From the personnel i know at Lions, their side is shot to pieces at the moment. BS 2nd XV have been taking a few beatings so far this season, 83-19, 64-20 etc. So could be a long season in the shield, if they're failing to beat BS. Regardless they're getting a game on, and rugby is played so well done.
