A tough game at Mortimer Park today, the windy conditions kept the scoreline lower than it should have been, but overall a fair result at the end.

Luctonians were always in the game, and were it not for one too many unforced errors the score could have been a lot different.

If it stays like this much longer it will be squeaky bum time soon for Mitch!

It’s our year Wilko.
When will they start believing ?
8 from 8 and only dropped a point. They will be saying that next week will be the test.
I don’t think so. Hull away is our next test.
Brilliant at 9 and 10, forwards strong and a set of backs who don’t care.
DOR maybe in his 20th year and coaches unrelenting, got it spot on, if only they could remember their log-ins on here then they might corroborate.
Just got to sort the cross dressing chairman.

It could well be your year Yorky Boy, until St George's Day!
It's still nip and tuck with Sedge but strangely Sedge collapse against Hudd 49 - 0; Stour have a mystery bug that puts Mitch and several key players out against Luctonians 9 -9. Hull and Ionians both win in 3rd and 4th spots. Last game of the season Sedge collapse, for no reason, at home to bottom place 'gate 0 - 79; Mitch picks the whole of the Lions team away at Tigers who narrowly lose 12 - 9. Hull scrape a win away at Luctonians and Ionians slip-up against Chester. Hull are promoted and the whole of the Ionians Committee and Alikadoos crew commit Hari-Kari in front of their equally suicidal supporters!
(Bored Sunday morning)

Bored maybe, but brilliant. God we miss you up here and sadly we may not play competitively for a while till we are both in National 1 and the Hull clubs have merged and called themselves….. Well just Hull !!!!

There's a thought.
I don't think YS could take another final match of the season slip up against a team from East Yorkshire.

I can assure you that you won't find any Hull Ionians committee or alikadoos committing suicide if Hull get promoted. We would be more likely to join Stour's Chairman in his dance (after making sure that all our players are contracted).

Good result yesterday YS, but you were playing the Students 2nd string.

I thought there must have been a good reason for us actually winning ...
