Happy New Year to you all. Hopefully everybody is back fit and well. I suspect there will not have been any over indulgence during the break to be slim and lithesome (except props) for the restart of the league.  This weeks fixtures are Bridgnorth v Bromsgrove Nuneaton v Oundle Paviors v Newport (Salop) Sandbach v Dudley Kingswinford Sunny Scunny v Doncaster Phoenix Sheffield v Burton Syston v Broadstreet

Inevitable I would imagine that we will see multiple postponements over the coming weeks with clubs crying "Covid" but let's hope for the best Bridgnorth v Bromsgrove HOME Grove have already lost 3 out of 6 on the road and this has the feeling of another Nuneaton v Oundle HOME These two already battling for the seasons wooden spoon - Nuns may be in a slightly false position given all the away games they have had to play so I am expecting them to nail this one Paviors v Newport AWAY Four week break for Port may bring some rustiness but I still expect them to have too much for Pavs Sandbach v DK HOME I would imagine fairly comfortable for Bach even without Cargill Scunny v Doncaster Phoenix HOME Seldom much between these two but I expect Scunny to edge home Sheffield v Burton HOME Sheff need this to halt their recent slide Syston v Broadstreet HOME Only one winner here, possibly by a big margin

This weeks guesses are Bridgnorth v Bromsgrove AW Probably the most difficult game this week but assuming Grove at full strength. Nuneaton v Oundle HW Unaccustomed as they are to being at home Nuns have got to start winning. Paviors v Newport (Salop) AW Salopians despite their time off to win but Pavs not to be disregarded especially at home. Sandbach v Dudley Kingswinford HW Bach always strong at home Sunny Scunny v Doncaster Phoenix HW Going to back the boys as ever Sheffield v Burton HW Sheffield usually strong at home Syston v Broadstreet HW Syston generally good at home. ------------- "Animo concipere non possum quo palto hoc pervease exeat." |

Well not a lot to shout about with only the Bridgnorth game splitting the predictors and leaving them sweating on the other 2 results when they are played. Top scorers who went for North this week are Rich Mids, That bloke, Bin Licker & Stinger  the remainder got 5 so our legue looks thus.
