Some significant results today & yesterday...

So Caldy need a draw in their final game, at home to Sale next w/e, to take the title & the guaranteed promotion spot. Sale need 4 points from that game + Chinnor (H) to secure 2nd & a possible promotion, but also know that a win at Paton Field (even with a 2-4 points split) would leave them in position to take the title on the final day. RP & Cam seem to be battling for 3rd, but could squeak 2nd.

And still tight at the bottom - DMP safe, but Albion, Club & Tykes in a real scrap to avoid the last relegation spot, hard to call.

Caldy according to an online Encyclopaedia has a population circa 1,200.
Next Saturday is it possible the attendance will be more than the population?

The older I get, the more the RFU leave me confused.

Maybe the Birkenhead Park supporters will drive the few miles to watch

DMP (54) have Leeds away then Moseley at home

Blackheath (49) have Cinderford away for their final game

PA (52) have Taunton at home, then Rosslyn Park away

Leeds (46)  have DMP at home, Taunton away then Cinderford at home

Holy knock ons Batman, this is going to be close

And then all the excitement will be quashed, probably in mid-October when Lord Justice Fontleroy says "Sorry Ealing you can't come in....... oh Rhubarb me its too late anyway" and another Championship season will be well and truly "boll... sed" again!!

I didn’t include DMP in the relegation mix as Club can only draw level with them on 54 & would have fewer wins.

As regards timing of the Champ to Prem promotion stramash, Ealing DoR Ben Ward said this week on Champ Clubs Podcast that he understood that verdict on his club’s appeal would come around the end of April. Some time b4 3pm on Sat 30th would be ideal so Nat 1 contenders know where they stand…
