If the game is on TNT sports I can understand that - however cannot see it in the listings

We cannot stream the games not shown, or even create longer highlights, as TNT have the rights.
I think coaches can see the games,  so perhaps our clubs should simply make us all coaches.

I've been told the same by Pirates - I agree it's disappointing. If the live TNT match was on Friday night (eg Donny v Briz), then I could see there was some ground for this, but the live game is Quins/Sarries on Sunday, so what exactly is the problem?

Some compensation is that those who can't get to the Mennaye can follow the game on 'Radio Dreckly'...

Its difficult to see how the RFU and TNT gain from this. Pirates and 247 certainly lose out as well as the Pirates & Jersey supporters who cant see the game. There must be a commercial purpose in all this but I guess I'm too old or too dim to understand it.

Ealing Trailfinders lineup to face Cambridge Rugby Club:

Many, many changes in the squad this week. Unfortunately, injuries seem to have taken out most of our back row, but Bobby de Wee comes back at 4. No Jonah Holmes this week, but I suspect he is being rested. We do get to see Billy Twelvetrees throw on a jersey finally. Should be okay to beat Cambridge.

Have you got Lloyd Williams on the field yet?

It'll be interesting to see what impact he has.

Knights 41 - 57 Bristol Bears (1 - 5)

Not the same amount of fire and passion as last week, a few silly errors allowed the Bears the breathing space they needed. Hoping for more fire and desire next week

According to Eurosport.com Premiership Rugby Cup rules state that if a team are unable to play a fixture due to "unforseen circumstances" the game will be deemed a 0-0 draw.  Anyone able to confirm this?

Cambridge 10 (1T) - Ealing 19 (3T) HT - Ealing have left several chances on the pitch, and I suspect that they will wear Cambridge down in the second half, but Cambridge have been rock solid in the scrum, and have made minimal errors

Ampthill (2 tríes) 12-7 (1 try) Blues

Blues were against the wind first half and appeared to be just waiting for the 2nd and were poor.

Dang, with that result Cov needs to 5-0 Glaws next weekend to go through. Was really hoping for a full 5 to make the Champ win more likely.

No chance, although I'd hope Cov would pick a full-strength side for that one.

Carved up by a pacey Nottingham backline today and a draw perhaps a fair result.  I'm hoping the A Team are back in the saddle next Saturday...

Not a great performance by Bedford and probably didn’t deserve the win. Need to sort out the lineout before the league starts if we want to challenge for top half, barely won any all match. Given we’ve had the same hooker for the best part of 10 years and his lineout percentage can’t be much/any better than 50% during that period, I don’t hold out much hope. Not sure why we chose to release Jack Hughes.

I would also add that Ealing is qualified for the semis now. Jersey fall out will help determine what seed.

Fish is the starting hooker and the lineout v Caldy was good. I don’t think it was all Fields fault yesterday and Ampthill seem to read it most of the time, but agree it was a total disaster. Hughes wasn’t released, he wanted to go and have go at rugby league for a bit.

The biggest issue was the 9 and 10 (2nd choice) game management was poor.

A very good performance by Caldy against a best available Sale Sharks side. In atrocious conditions not having the ball was probably a good thing and in the first half Caldy had a lot of good things! Sale Sharks had circa 85% possession and territory but apart from two line out drives book ending the half the Sharks couldn't break down Caldy's defence.

Time and time again the du Preez twins and Jonny Hill trucked the ball up but they were continuously smashed back. 0-12 down at half time became 0-17 at the start of the second period but if the script was for the Sharks to start to pull away Caldy hadn't read it.

The introduction of Raffi Quirke on the 45 minute mark put more pace into the Sharks but as the weather improved Caldy had much the better of the next 30 minutes in territory, possession and inventiveness .A glorious chip in behind by Lewis Barker put Connor Wilkinson in under the posts to get Caldy on to the score board and it was game on.

A few times Caldy were within driving range of the Sharks try line but the street smarts of Jonny Hill and the heavy weight Sharks pack stemmed the tide. Although the Sharks redoubled their efforts in the last 7 or 8 minutes and managed to secure the bonus point with the last play of the game, it was a messy and unclear score.

The match was a feisty affair with numerous flash points as a defiant and physical Caldy refused to be bullied by their more illustrious Manchester neighbours. Caldy scrum half Chris 'Tyson' Pilgrim scrapping with the Shark's pack delighted the big home support and was typical of the fight within this Caldy squad..

A great competitive game at Paton Field

And on the Cov note. How wonderful to see the Cov 9 come off the bench for Tonga and then score one of the tries of the tournament against the mighty Bocs!! Brilliant stuff.

One of the things I've enjoyed while watching Pat Pellegrini at Cov is his willingness to back himself in attack. That try was typical of that approach.
We missed him on Saturday.

What a journey in the space of 18mths. Still visits his mates here for a beer.
