Good morning all

Lovely morning here in Manchester as we await for the first time visit of Bishops Stortford. KO 14-30. We are expecting a very tough battle at Park Lane. Should be a cracker.

If you could post any updates from the game you are at today that  would be brilliant.

For those interested please follow the links below to view our online programme of the game and below that, Sedges team selection for the game.

Good to see a healthy number of travelling Bishops Stortford faithful have made the journey great to have a bit of good humoured pre match banter.

Not long now for the real story to begin.

I can’t wait

Sedge 0 Bishop Stortford 22 HT

No complaints with that scoreline. Bishops Stortford have been exceptional in every element of the game. The pack on set piece and in the loose have been aggressive and dominant. The backs have been quick and ruthless.

For large parts Sedge have had  possession but trundled into traffic and coughed up good position.

Still another 40 minutes to go. This will be a big half for both clubs. Looks like Silver Leys prediction is safe.Wink At this moment.😂😂😂

This could have been a bigger scoreline against Sedge. Sedge came back into when BS were down to 13. Only one team in it today.

Well done Bishops Stortford. Excellent effort highly deserved win. Have a great night and good journey home.

Absolutely outstanding performance today. Defence was superb. Great game from both sides but Chinnor driving mauls were stopped and they didn’t seem to have a plan B. I think they had around 10 line outs between 5 - 10 metres out and only managed to score from one. I will be pleased when the refs and ARs start penalising scrums for stepping left which they did the whole game. I think Blackheath shaded the battle of tactics and decision making which was probably where the game was won and lost.

It's happening again! At both ends too...great result for BS yesterday...just when you feared their slide might be terminal. Both Chinnor and RAMS have to play Plymouth away...I'm sure they would like to return to early season form and give both a bloody nose (and I know I shouldn't be looking ahead...one game at a time and all that).

And Chinnor and Rams both away to Moseley for the last 2 games of the season....Mose may well decide the outcome

I think  Rams have the harder run in,but with only one point between them, bonus points will be critical. For third place it's close between about five teams Great season, anybody can beat anybody.
Do we know for definite how many go up and down.

We’re equal on points think you’ll find TRP table is incorrect

No
This season I believe it's one up to the Championship with no-one coming down as they're a team short due to Jersey Reds folding.  It will therefore be two to go down with three coming up from National 2, and consequent adjustments down the pyramid.

The RFU Tier II proposals are, I believe, for the 2025-26 season onwards.

It's currently showing Chinnor on 78 points, Rams on 77.
