For the ordinary purposes of conversation, a superficial knowledge of many things goes further than an intimacy with one or two.

Note for Bedford fans - PARKING at Cambridge has SOLD OUT.

There are still tickets available, so please come by public transport or taxi.

The U2 runs from the Madingley Rd Park and Ride The 14:14 is the last service that will get you to the club for kick-off, but I would come earlier if you can.

Or you could catch the 905 bus from Bedford, changing onto the 18 at St Neots.

The ladies kick off at 12:00 and the England match is being shown after the men's game.

It is free at the Park and Ride, which was why I suggested it.

amazing... but true. if anyone didn't yet catch the latest Champ Clubs Podcast, co-host Charlie Beckett predicted 'tries, tries and more tries' from this game. Wonder when a Champ game last had such a low score?

Hartpury into top 4, albeit everyone else has games in hand

Tonight’s man of the match, Nottingham’s number 6 Sam Green summed it up very well when he said although it was a low scoring match it was a very hard battle.
I can’t really add any more to that to be honest! It was a heck of a battle, but neither side wanted to let the other in.

Well played cov. Ealing missed 5 of 6 conversions. If you leave 10 points on the field like that, you dont really expect the win.

Haha, what about the simple fact that whilst being a tight game, you were outplayed.

That's harsh R&J.  He congratulated Cov on the win and made a reasonable observation.

Apart from the 10 point head start Cov gave Ealing, they perhaps edged the rest of the game and just about deserved the win.  It wasn't the best of conditions for kickers and most of the ealing attempts were from wide out.  Cov probably missed the easier of the kicks on offer but it was a game that could have gone either way.

Cov's best performance by a country mile in a very long time.
Jordon Poole in every sense was more than magnificent ( whatever that is ) !
I totally support the view it was very evenly balanced. Overall though having having been asleep at the start, Cov overall were just the better side.
Poole comments already made, all 21 who participated deserved all the plaudits they received.
Not least young Tobi Wilson at full back, what a future he has, plus bravely stepping up for the final last penalty which he landed superbly.

Just watched the highlights on YouTube. Excellent tries from both teams . Some long range inter passing from forwards and backs.
Ealing overthrow was uncharacteristic but happens at all levels.

OuchWell done to Coventry a deserved win.....tough place to go.
