Billingham were excellent and am delighted for them to survive their first season at this level. Second half though Roth controlled the game and it followed a similar pattern to the Sheffield Tigers game the week before. Keep them pinned back and take the points on offer to keep the scoreboard ticking over and really take the game away from them. All too often in the past it has been easy to ignore the kicks at goal in favour of trying to get 5 or 7 points, but Roth closed it out such that the final try for Billingham, which of course was great for them, but had no effect on the outcome. It has been a very tough season for all teams and it ended on a great note for both teams. By the way, congratulations to Kino Sport. That You Tube video of the game was superb. 👏👏👏👏 ------------- I could have been a contender. |
