We were at almost full strength say 5 or 6 players not there , Quins were at full strength a lot of Army and RAF new boys . First 20 minutes was tight and Quins had 2 rolling maul tries after that our speed and offloading meant they could not live with the pace and on a 4G it suited our style
Pre season but really encouraging . Old albanians other pre season game next week

Two away wins too.

Now, another two away wins would be nice when the season starts.

London Welsh are looking incredible for this season so far, exacerbated with Oxford Quins result against Henley on the weekend

One day more! One more day before we see if that pre-season form translates into reality this season. I've been looking forward to this day for months and I'm hoping that its an enjoyable season.

Good luck to everyone today
will be keeping an eye on the results.
LW look very strong and expect them to carry on from where they left off last season
Game of the day has to be Wimbledon  v Camberley.
will be interesting  to see how Jersey get on this season , a tough start for them away to TW for the opener though

Tony have a great season, missing the HSB already.
Is it still free to get in down at your place?
Happy hunting 😉

Cheers Karlos
The HSB will be flowing today a big crowd expected at the lane..looking forward to watching the boys run out against Sevenoaks in our first game in national league rugby for 15 years!...hope your Blues do well and when we play worthing next week could you pop a pint of Harvey's down for me !Wink
£5 to get in this season as the club have finally got round to chucking the 1st 15 a match fee ( long overdue may I add!) So the downside of that is having to get some money in to pay for it
So gone are the days of me banging on about us beating clubs who pay players when we didn't.
shame as I loved a wind up on that one😎

What a start from Jersey. Great game to watch, seemed to come out as if they hadn't had a break.

Thanks Teddy, a lot of close games last weekend making for an exciting season ahead hopefully.

Camberley (0) vs London Welsh (5) - If the wet weather stayed I would've gone Camberley (and their pack) but the LW backline looks incredible
Hammersmith & Fulham (0) vs Jersey (5) - Big statement last week from Jersey which they will continue without missing a beat
Tunbridge Wells (5) vs CS Stags (0) - TW will react after last week and Civil Service never travel that well
Old Alleynians (4) vs Horsham (1) - Believe this is battle for the spoon to be edged by the home team
Maidenhead (5) vs Wimbledon (2) - Maidenhead at home is a tough place to go but think will be a high scoring and close affair
Brighton (4) vs Bracknell (0) - Close and very edgy game (low scoring), with Brighton being tough to beat at home

Maidenhead (2) VS Wimbledon (5)
Old Alleynians (1) VS Horsham (4)
Tunbridge Wells (5) VS Civil Service (0)
