Much to my almost complete shock, Ealing (and Pirates) have both been awarded 20-0, 4 try walkovers for the Jersey games. This means that Ealing will host a semi-final against Leicester Tigers on Sunday 18th February at 1500, which will be televised live on TNT Sports. This determination also make Ealing top seeds (24 pool points, 5 wins, and PD of 99), so if they should happen to win that match, then they would also ensure a home cup final.

Well - Ealing's comms say that we're hosting the match on Twitter and their website, but Tigers says 'time and venue TBC', so let's see what happens. Given that we have 4 months, I'd like to think that this is the perfect opportunity for Ealing to push their planning permission, or even just attempt to get temporary permission to bring in stands to get the capacity up for the match. Tigers have a notoriously large following, so I could see this being a sell out at 5k (or am I dreaming?).
