The way things have shaped up I think this weekend is a weekend of monster clashes, and a chance for Nottingham to get a solid win

Ampthill (5) vs (2) Richmond - Mond played really well last weekend but Ampthill are very tricky home advantage given

Doncaster (5) vs (1) Hartpury - this is going to be another tight fought battle for the Knights but we break away in the last 10 minutes

Bedford (4) vs (1) Cornish - Bedford found their Mojo last weekend and will battle out a win

Jersey (5) vs (2) Ealing - clash of the weekend Jersey to nick it at the death

London Scottish (1) vs (5) Nottingham - Nottingham to pull the rabbit out of the hat
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

Ampthill 4-1 Richmond. A clash of two hugely improving sides in the Championship. Saturday could well be wet and windy so I think the home side will just get the win.
Doncaster 5-0 Hartpury. Doncaster will be keen to keep the pressure on Ealing, and again the weather might be in their favour.
Bedford 0-4 Cornish Pirates. So many times a side will do well one Saturday and then lose the plot again the following Saturday. The Pirates to grind out a win.
Jersey 1-4 Ealing. I just think Ealing will bounce back after last week. But hey, this could go any way. I would love to be there to watch it.
London Scottish 3-3 Nottingham. Going for a draw is a very brave prediction.
Always trying to stay bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Looks like another storm due to blow in that day which may suit the home team. I hope to make the long journey South from St Ouen to St Peter for this one but I bet they would get a good few takers if they stream it live.
Dont kick it. Pick it up and GO FORWARD.

May I respectfully remind anyone predicting results in this one that Jersey are the official underdogs in their game against Ealing. Woof Woof!

Ampthill (5) vs (0) Richmond - Home field and Richmond spent up a lot of energy last week

Doncaster (4) vs (1) Hartpury - tight battle

Bedford (1) vs (4) Pirates - Bedford "after the lord mayor's show"?

Jersey (0) vs (5) Ealing - I imagine it was a wake up call for Ealing and fully focussed this week on the game in front of them not the games coming up

London Scottish (2) vs (5) Nottingham - Could go either way

Bedford 1 - 5 Cornish Pirates

London Scottish 5 - 2 Nottingham
For the ordinary purposes of conversation, a superficial knowledge of many things goes further than an intimacy with one or two.

Pirates practicing penalties from their own 22. Mind you with the wind from the South as it is at the moment they might just about reach Bedford!! Let's hope it's kinder on Saturday

Bedford is probably Pirates toughest away game from a travel point of view.

It might not look as far as Donny or similar, but coming from the far South West its either a crawl on dubious A roads from Swindon via Milton Keynes or the lottery of the M25.

A long slow & tedious journey unless all the planets align

Got to agree on the roads situation Geoff - Donny does sit comfortably on the motorway network so it is readily accessible from all points in the country (as is their rail and air options)
Onward and Upwards C'mon Donny!

I agree, on several previous visits I've stayed on the M5 to the midlands and taken the M42, M6 and M1 to London leaving at exit 14 for Bedford, It might seem like an out of the way route, but it has been quicker and easier than the Swindon/Oxford alternative

Who can even begin to predict this league anymore?!.
Predictions:
Ampthill v Richmond - 4-1 (home advantage)
Doncaster v Hartpury - 5-1 (Donny will be pushed hard by a good Hartpury team)
Bedford v Cornish Pirates - 1-5 (Just think the effort put in by Blues at Ealing will catch up with them)
Jersey v Ealing - 4-1 (a mega-fixture)
London Scottish v Nottingham - 2-5 (High-scoring thriller, Notts the better team)

Donny Knights - best team in Yorkshire
