World ranking 24 (and with Phil Davies as Head Coach of Namibia- a fact I had overlooked) I doubt shipping in the entire national team  would hack it in the Championship

It would seem that anyone who posts on here that thinks the Leedshire position is a disgrace and should be punished is a fool Leeds hater, and more according  to their Fans forum, what fans they have left.  Let me assure Leeds fans of couple of points 1 We live in a Democracy 2 My view is   that what i am entitled to my opinion 3 Because of the Clubs actions that they should have suffered sanctions. 4 They have totally de valued the championship not being able to compete played 12 lost 12 goal diff a staggering, minus 439 Next worse minus 81. and of course are rock bottom Conceding a massive 49.5 per game And scoring just 13 per game. And these people think we are idiots. It is obvious  they should have been sanctioned and dropped down the Leagues. what ever happened to Justice The Union are clearly at Fault.

I am thankful that this seasons league position will determine the relegated side, unlike the dreadful relegation playoffs offs 10 years ago where a club who had gone into administration, was docked points, and ended bottom of the regular season 20 points adrift from the club above, and stayed up by bringing in journey men just for the playoffs.

Bringing in players for a play-off should never have been allowed - to qualify players should have signed and played for a club by the end of February.

Should a side not be able to field enough front row specialists they should concede - they would have had plenty of time (6 months) to sign them from game 1.

Another impressive effort from YC today, a new coach and 5 International Namimbians and a stellar performance against the team directly above them.

I hope the RFU are truly enjoying making their top league a laughing stock whilst harshly penalising an aspiring community clubs that lives well within its means!!!

A 73-26 scoreline, definetly one for the spectators....

However I do feel that Carnegie, may eek out at least one win this year.
Albeit with a side nothing like the one they put out at the start of the year.

If they lost 26-73 to the team in 11th place, at home!!! Who are they going to beat? Not a chance.

Reading the Leeds forum the supporters are not happy that people think what has happened is First Wrong And secondly against the credibility of the RFU, and that my thoughts in particular that they should have been Sanctioned is wrong and unjust. The fact that it has made a joke of the Championship and Rugby Union seems to have missed their attention. But Hey What Do I Know ?

The 15

Clearly more than they do.

Administration would have been sanctioned
Liquidation would have been sanctioned.
CVA should have been sanctioned but had been omitted from RFU regulations.
CVA under false pretences, by forgetting to tell the players the full terms should have been sanctioned twice over, at a higher level of sanctioning than liquidation, and with the potential for legal action for fraud.

The following is an extract of a post I put up in another thread;

“I have nothing but respect for the players and supporters of Yorkshire Carnegie. They have lost all thirteen games but I have now watched them twice and on both occasions they have never given up, always given their best, and sometimes, with a little bit more luck, would have scored far more points. Unfortunately the club’s finances are a mess, they are just about certain to be relegated, and I fear they might well fold before the start of the next season. I feel they need to cut all ties with the old administrators, move away from Headingley for now, perhaps team up with a club like West Park Bramhope, take a few seasons to rebuild, and then see where they are. Or is this too simple a view?”

There was supposed to be a fans “meet the manager” meeting before the Ampthill game but this got cancelled (and not because of the weather). It was rearranged for before the London Scottish game but got cancelled again. There are just so many things that go wrong at this club on so many levels. But it’s nothing to do with the players and supporters, except maybe many of the supporters have had enough. So, to stand any chance of survival, get back out there and through the turnstiles, albeit big fancy electronic ones in a massively under-utilised stadium.
